1)Profanity
If a poem you post has cuss words in it, in the title you need to put explicit, there are some people that don't like that and you need to give them warning. This will and should make for less complaints.
2)1. Be respectful at all times.
When posting a new thread, replying to an existing thread and even when sending a pm to other members, do not be rude. We understand that everyone is not going to get along 100% of time, but we do except you act in a mature manner when handling disagreements. And yes this does include those of you who may only be 15.
Note: Also any disagreements with any members should never be handled in the forum. If a member does anything that offends you, then you should pm that particular member and try to work things out privately. This includes all staff members also.
3)Do not join just to do nothing or to send a pm/message to every member.
You do not have to stay, if you decide you no longer wish to be a part of the forum. Just delete your account. Also, sending PM'S/messages like these is spam as well as:
- Posting unsolicited adverts (usually in the form of links to a site) around the forum or
PMing/e-mailing unsolicited advertisements to site members without permission.
- There are also several other definitions that are categorized as 'spam' on this site:
- Excessive 'bumping': You may only 'bump' (post in a thread to raise it up the page
listings) if it has been unanswered for 48 hours.
4)The Warning System
If you break one of these rules you will be warned. If you reach 100 on the warning scale your account will be deleted and your ip address will be banned as well. Breaking rules will not be tolerated.
5)Be Considerate
We do not tolerate flaming, personal attacks, racism, or anything of this nature.
6)No multi accounts.
If you are caught having multiple accounts they will both be deleted, there is not need to have multiple accounts.
7)No porn
Do not post pornographic pictures, or pornographically written poetry. Also do not post links to sex sites. If you do your account will be deleted.
8)Poetry Posts
When posting a poem that is written by someone else, aka a famous poem, and this poem has already been published or posting one of your own poems, you need to put the author down even if it is your own writing. I don't want to have to deal with problems of stealing.
