The Mind's Eye

Symbolic drastics, copulating with the mind's eye,

destroying innocence of thought with its desolate feeling of anger.

Remorse has no life in this cold dark aura,

lost in the illusion of hate and destruction for all.

While they grow closer you hear a faint, distant cry
as the soul bereaves the loss of control.

Hope and happiness tight in the clutches of the fiend,

unsuccessfully struggling to create serenity.

Ignorance of deception is the key to the drastic existence.

Without knowledge, there's no future for peace.

Men no longer see men, just occupied spaces that need to be cleaned.

An antidote is offered, but the mind is too weak to indulge,

So the soul will suffer and eventually dies.

And all the world is dark and desolate, in the mind's eye.
